Mezzotono carry around the world a show made in a different and very original key. The show is performed without any instruments. Only five voices that imitating the sound of the real instruments and with a comical approach (of course speaking in English) encourages audience participation in a nice and never pushy way. Everybody will be always focused and attracted by the show because otherwise something would be visually “lost”. The aim is to cover many music styles with Italian songs that goes from jazz to pop, bossa nova, mambo, tango, folklore, big band style or classic music showing that with the voices it is possible to do everything.

Not only Italy but the theaters of more than 50 countries and 5 continents around the world have hosted Mezzotono’s music making it the European vocal group with the highest number of countries visited in the world with their own music.

Some of the best experience are: Dubai Jazz Festival with James Morrison and Jonathan Butler, 12 tours theatre in China, Cairo Opera House concert, Johor Bahru Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival, Boston Green Festival in USA, Jornadas Musicales del Norte in Chile and Argentina, tours in 12 African nations. In Italy many concerts in theaters and TV (RAI, Mediaset, Sky).

In June of 2008 their cd “Mezzotono” was produced by the record company Preludio of Milan, Italy. In October of 2008 they were selected as one of the ten best groups in the whole Country and they were asked to partake in the making of the cd “A-Cappella Made in Italy”

In 2015 their new album “Mad in Italy”

In 2016 they had a nomination for the Contemporary A cappella Recording Awards of Boston for “Cime di Rape” as “Best Humor Song”.

In  2018  they take part to the album “Prisoner 709” of Caparezza (golden album in Italy).

In 2020 the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs choose Mezzotono to spread a message in the world to promote the Italian culture together with Andrea Bocelli, Renato Zero, Alberto Angela, Tiziano Ferro, Massimo Ranieri, Mario Biondi, Paolo Conte and Uto Ughi.
